Clipping Mask
I have added an image behind the title. It can be done by the technique called "create clipping mask". Place the image on the words and make sure that the image layer is on top of the word layer in the layer panel. Then right-click on the image layer and choose "create clipping mask". Adjust the image accordingly.
Clone Stamp Tool
BEFORE
AFTER
The clone stamp tool was used to duplicate the same portion to another portion in order to erase something or enhance something. Here i used to erase the copy right logo of the image. Could be done by simply choosing the tool, click at whatever portions that we want to duplicate while holding the
ALT button. Then, we just have to brush it along wherever we want.

Mask Layer Technique
This mask layer will be added to the right side of the layer when we click the "add layer mask" button. This feature allows us to delete those portions that we don't need and bring it back whenever we need it. This could be done simply by juz choosing the brush tool and select BLACK color and paint around the portions that we don't need. To restore it, choose WHITE color and paint through wherever we want.

Ideation
The ideation of my design revolves around COLORS and hence the festival HOLI. I have used the background color as black to enhance the other colors in order to make them stand out.
I have used the font "Impact" as it always gives a highlight for a title design. It blends well with the color and concept in any design. It will allow "image clipping" to form a beautiful output.
The tag line has been added to suit the festival title name.
Additional explanation of the festival title has also been added in order to deliver the meaning of the festival for user to understand.
The idea of arrangment of those pictures stacked on one to another will catch the viewer's attention. It is also to give a continuous color effect to the wallpaper.
Some space around the title has been left to show the background color. This is to isolate the the title and highlight it to reduce congestion and confusion on the wallpaper design.
Reference
Images taken from the internet has been used as a part of the wallpaper design. Each of it has its reference accordingly to prevent pliagrism.

Holi - Hindu Festival of Color
Assignment 1 is all about creating our own desktop wallpaper. the main theme is FESTIVALS. Here, i have chosen the HOLI FESTIVAL as my wallpaper design. Here is a little bit about what is HOLI FESTIVAL.
Holi is a spring religious festival celebrated by hindus and Sikhs. It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and countries with large Indic diaspora populations, such as Suriname, Guyana, South Africa, Trinidad, United Kingdom, United States, Mauritius, and Fiji.
Holi is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other. Bonfires are lit the day before, also known as Holika Dahan (burning of Holika) or Chhoti Holi (little Holi). The bonfires are lit in memory of the miraculous escape that young Prahlad accomplished when Demoness Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu, carried him into the fire. Holika was burnt but Prahlad, a staunch devotee of god Vishnu, escaped without any injuries due to his unshakable devotion. Holika Dahan is referred to as Kama Dahanam in South India.
Holi is celebrated at the end of the winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month Phalguna (February/March), (Phalgun Purnima), which usually falls in the later part of February or March.
